Obituary for Kenneth J. "Ken" MacBlane
Kenneth J. MacBlane of Roselle Park, N.J. passed away peacefully on Thursday October 13, 2022, at the age of 60 with family by his side.
Graveside services will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, N.J. on Tuesday October 18th, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. Please arrive at the cemetery by 11:15 a.m.
A repast at the Garlic Rose, 28 North Avenue West, Cranford, N.J. will follow from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Ken was the son of Diane (nee Vining) & Thomas MacBlane from Johnson City, New York, and was born on August 11, 1962. He lived most of his life in Johnson City and the Upstate NY area. He moved to Old Bridge, N.J. for 13 years prior to moving to Roselle Park 8 years ago.
Ken was a member of the Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department. Previously he was a firefighter in Upstate N.Y. An avid dog lover, he worked at Dogtopia of Old Bridge and through that, did a lot of volunteer work with dog rescues and for the local animal shelter. Ken enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and traveling.
In addition to being survived by his parents, Ken is survived by his beloved life partner Adrienne Taub; daughter Cherrisse MacBlane, siblings Tommy and Gregory; step-children Casey & her husband Matthew and Jillian & her partner Ronnie; and grandchildren Zoe and Elliott who he adored.
