Obituary for Erin K. Lemiska
Erin Kanani Lemiska, age 33 left this world July 21, 2022.
Erin Was born in Honolulu Hawaii to Walter Lemiska and the late Janet Lemiska.
She spent most of her life residing in N.J.
In her younger years, Erin thrived with her writing, and poetry, and was published in several literary collections.
Erin earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Public Health from Montclair State University, Master's degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Caldwell University.
Erin had a magical way with the elderly and those battling health or mental issues. She was caring, patient and sympathetic to the needs of others, all the while battling her own illnesses.
She was loved by many and was thought of as the light in what could be a dark world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Erin is predeceased by her mother Janet Lemiska, and survived by her father Walter Lemiska, stepmother Ira Lemiska, stepbrother Ryan Petroni, Aunt Donna & Uncle Walt, Aunt Claudia & Uncle Bill, and cousins Chris, Craig, Amanda, William & Daniel
Cremation was a private event. A Memorial Service and celebration of Erin’s life will be held on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church, 2815 Morris Avenue, Union. Reverend Doctor Thomas Sigley will officiate. Please gather at the church starting at 10:30 a.m. www.ccfou.org
